The teacher

Every student is unique, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Learning the piano develops discipline, patience, concentration, resilience, and self-confidence — skills that benefit students throughout their lives.

Hello! My name is Yasmin El Shennawy, and I am a classical pianist, piano educator, and concert organizer with a passion for inspiring students of all ages to develop a lifelong love for music. My music journey started at the young age of 7, receiving instruction from teachers of different nationalities and backgrounds. I started my piano teaching career in 2000 in my hometown Alexandria, Egypt and continued teaching until I relocated to Jeddah in 2013 and joined the music instrumental teaching staff at The British International School of Jeddah. With over 26 years of teaching experience, I had the privilege of working with children, teenagers, and adults—from complete beginners to advanced students preparing for examinations and performances. My mission is to provide high-quality piano education in a supportive, structured, and inspiring environment where every student can reach their full potential.

  • Yasmin is an amazing piano teacher. She’s patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping her students improve. I’ve learned so much from her, not just technically but also in becoming more confident in my playing. She knows how to challenge you while still making the lessons enjoyable, and she always makes you feel comfortable learning at your own pace. I’m really grateful to have Yasmin as my teacher and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a talented, supportive, and passionate piano teacher.
